The Annapurna Circuit trek is the most spectacular trekking route in the Annapurna region. The adventurous 160-230 Km hike circles the grand Annapurna massif. Furthermore, reaching the zenith at Thorong La Pass (5416m) and touching the edge of the Tibetan plateau. Along with the mountain views, one can see a fine village inhabited by a wide diversity of people from different ethnic groups of the Gurung, Manangi and Thakali people. Also, one can see the magnificent view of high Himalayan, including  Annapurna Massif (Annapurna I-IV), Mt. Dhaulagiri (8,167m), Machhepuchhre (6,993m), Manaslu (8,156m), Gangapurna (7,455m) Tilicho peak (7,134m), Pisang Peak and Paungda Danda around the circuit.

Highlights of Annapurna Round trek

The trek starts at Besisahar in the Marshyangdi River valley and concludes in the Kali Gandaki Gorge. The Kali Gandaki Gorge is the deepest gorge in the world. In addition, the trail passes along paddy fields and into subtropical forests, gigantic cliffs, and various village. The trek starts from the rural mid-hills and reaches to the Thorung La pass (5,416 m) which is the highest and most challenging pass on the circuit. One of the different experience you will ever receive is the exploration of lush fields and forests to the mountain into the desert-dry valley. Along with world’s highest mountains glowing in the light of dawn and dusk which will take your breath away for a moment.

Best time to travel

It is also possible to do the Annapurna Circuit Trek any time of the year. But The months of September, October, and November till the second week of December are the peak trekking season. Spring is also a favored season which falls from February to May since the weather is pleasant and offers excellent crystal clear mountain views. But the monsoon period can be problematic due to lots of blood sucking leeches.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu - Transfer to Hotel.

Day 2 Rest, sightseeing, preparation, assignment and briefing.

Day 3 Drive to Bhulbhule via Dumre and Besisahar.

Day 4 Commence trek Bhulbhule to Shange (1136m).

Day 5 Trek from Shange to Tal (1710m).

Day 6 Terk from Tal to Bagarchhap (2160m).

Day 7 Bagarchhap to Chame (2630m).

Day 8 Trek from Chame to Pisang (3300m).

Day 9 Trek from Pisang to Manang (3500m).

Day 10 Acclimatization day at Manang.

Day 11 Trek from Manang to Ledar (4250m).

Day 12 Trek from Ledar to Phedi or High camp (4600m).

Day 13 Trek from Phedi or High Camp to Muktinath (3710m).

Day 14 Trek from Muktinath to Tukuche (2600m).

Day 15 Trek from Tukuche to Ghasa (2100m).

Day 16 Trek from Ghasa to Tatopani (1200m).

Day 17 Trek from Tatopani to Ghorepani (2850).

Day 18 Explore Poonhill and Trek to Tikhedhunga (1495m).

Day 19 Trek from Tikhedhunga to Nayapul and Drive to Pokhara.

Day 20 Tourist Bus Journey from Pokhara to Kathmandu.

Day 21 Kathmandu to Your Port of Destination.
