Ganesh Himal Trek, one of the most isolated and least explored areas, concealed between the Langtang National Park and the Manaslu. It is believed that the range got its name from the Hindu Lord Ganesha, elephant-headed god.  The land is blessed with waterfalls, wildflowers embellishing the lush hill, wide-ranging geographical and cultural diversity. The region is also famous for the precious natural rocks such as rubies and rare herbal and medicinal plants. In addition, many interesting ethnic groups shows a mixture of their lifestyle, offers you a glimpse into real Nepali life. Ganesh Himal Trek is a journey towards the foothill of Ganesh Himal ranges. It is a cluster of nearly 20 peaks and lies on the west of Manaslu Himal. Ganesh Himal Range is the great Himalayan chain of Ganesh I, Ganesh II, Ganesh III and Ganesh IV standing out like sparkling crystals in the skyline. The highest points of this trek are Pansang La pass (4100m) and Shingle pass (4200m). These places offer more than 40 mountains with the height over 6000m. One can see the spectacular views of Ganesh I (7406m), Annapurna (8091m), Fishtail (6990m), Lamjung (6800m), Langtang (7300m), Manaslu (8163m), Hiunchuli, Ganesh II, Ganesh III, Ganesh IV, and Boudha Himal. In addition, Ganesh Himal Trek treads to Manaslu Circuit Trail. Furthermore, it chases the trails of Hidden Tsum Valley. Also, the trail passes through the largest monastery, Lungdang Monastery, that lies in the Base Camp of Ganesh Himal.

Best Time to travel

February to May and August to December is the best season for Ganesh Himal trek. you can see the mountains and magnificent red Rhododendrons, Nepal’s national flower. However, trekking is feasible throughout the year.

Day 1 Drive Kathmandu (1350m) to Betrawati (800m), trek to Chapdanda (1220m).

Day 2 Trek to Bhalche (2020m).

Day 3 Trek to Gonga (2800m).

Day 4 Kharka to Rupchet (3720m).

Day 5 Acclimatization day, and hiking around the valley.

Day 6 Crossing the Singla Bhanjyang (4750m) and camp at Phedi (3545m).

Day 7 Trek to Pansang Bhanjyang (4000m).

Day 8 Rest and hiking around the valley.

Day 9 Trek to Tipling (2500m).

Day 10 Trek to Sertung (2050m).

Day 11 Trek to Sapchet (1500m).

Day 12 Trek to Darkha (1250m).

Day 13 Trek to Lapang (1000m).

Day 14 Trek to Khahare (900m).

Day 15 Trek to Arughat (700m).

Day 16 Trek to Khanchok (1448m).

Day 17 Trek to Gorkha Durbar (1143m).

Day 18 Drive Gorkha to Kathmandu.
