Manaslu Circuit Trek is a challenging pass and it is among the most chosen and well-loved trekking destinations in Manaslu region. This trek circles around the impressive Mt Manaslu at (8156m) which is the eighth highest peak in the world.

Manaslu and genuine adventure.  Since Annapurna circuit trail started the motor road construction the circuit of Manaslu trek crossing over the Larke Pass/Larkya La Pass (5160m) is getting more and more popular as a new trekking destination.

The Manaslu Round trek was officially opened to trekkers in 1991. Since this region is in the restricted area require special trek permit by the Government registered trekking agency of Nepal.

Modernization and commercialization have not touched the purity of environment. Since last few years, this quite untouched area is gaining huge popularity and offering the finest trekking experience Himalayan. Thus, trek to Manaslu will be a time-travel experience.

Highlights of Manaslu Circuit Trek

Manaslu Circuit Trek begins from Arughat Bazaar or Gorkha Bazaar, the old kingdom of Nepal. Furthermore, the journey from Barpark-Laprak offers you the great views of Annapurna Ranges, Langtang ranges, and massif view of Mountains. In addition, you can explore the culture, tradition, and lifestyle of people of Barpark and Laprak. While around Manaslu one can see attractive views of Himalchuli (7,893m), Manaslu (8163m), Annapurna range, Shringi(7,187m), Ganesh Himal, NgadiChuli (7,879m) and other mountains. You can see the beautiful varied landscape and different flora and fauna, which make you seem as if you are through the most beautiful scenery.

Manaslu round trekking is a little bit difficult over, snow-covered Larkya La Pass (5160m). The trek follows Buri Gandaki River and ends at Bhulbhule close to the Besisahar. Besisahar is also starting point of famous Annapurna Circuit trek. Furthermore, the trek explores small villages, the culture of Tibetan origin people living alongside the trails.

Best Time to Travel

Spring and autumn are the best seasons for Manaslu Circuit trek. March, April, and May are the best months for trekking because in these months weather will be clear and calm as well as you can get an opportunity to view High mountains Manaslu full of Snow.

Similarly, September, October, and November are the perfect months for trekking in Nepal after the monsoon. During these months you can get the clear majestic view of Himalayas and experiences their culture because during autumn you can be the part of the biggest festivals of Nepal.

Day 1 Arrival in Kathmandu (1,300m/4,264 ft).

Day 2 Kathmandu: Sightseeing and Trek Preparation.

Day 3 Drive from Kathmandu to Sotikhola (710m/2328 ft) 8-9 hours.

Day 4 Soti Khola - Maccha Khola (900m/2952 ft): 6-7 hours.

Day 5 Maccha Khola - Jagat (1410m/ 4625 ft): 6-7 hrs.

Day 6 Jagat - Deng (1,804m/5917 ft): 6-7 hrs.

Day 7 Deng - Namrung (2630m/8626ft): 6-7 hrs.

Day 8 Namrung - Samagaon (3530m/11,578 ft): 6-7 hours.

Day 9 Samagaon - Pungyen gompa - Samagaon: 6-7 hours exploration.

Day 10 Samagaon - Samdo (3860m/12,660 ft): 4-5 hours.

Day 11 Rest Day in Samdo.

Day 12 Samdo - Dharamsala/Larkya B. C. (4460m/14, 628 ft): 4-5 hours.

Day 13 Dharamsala - Larkya la (5160m/16, 924 ft) - Bimthang (3720m/12, 201 ft): 8-9 hours.

Day 14 Bimthang - Tilije (2300m/7544ft): 5-6 hours.

Day 15 Tilije - Tal (1700m/5576 ft): 5 - 6 hours(1700).

Day 16 Tal - Syange (1080m/3542 ft): 6-7 hours.

Day 17 Syange - Kathmandu: 8-9 hours.

Day 18 Final departure.
