A lot of people residing in this area areTibetan. It extends from crops cultivation area to area for good lined with snow and ice. Therefore it has sort of rough wall of snow and ice hanging from the sky.
Route of Manaslu Expedition
- Manaslu has several attention-grabbing routes leading to the common summit and plenty of them were climbed and explored. The quality commercial route is on the first route of the 1956 Japanese expedition up the Northeast face.
- The climb is simple and only slightly a lot of technical then Cho Oyu or Shishapangma, but with low Base Camp it’s an extended climb and with comparatively high objective avalanche risk.
- Traditionally there are three camps higher than base camp C1 (5,500m), C2 (6,300m) and C3 (7,300 m). Some expeditions establish an intermediate camp between C2 and C3 at 6,700m. The terrain encountered on the ascents varies from glacier crossings to steep snow steps and needs a good understanding of basic alpine mounting techniques. Manaslu has been climbed Alpine style however historically all commercial operators follow expedition style to enhance the probabilities of summit success for the clients.
